Our Melbourne team is seeking a senior GIS analyst with three to five years’ work experience in the private or public sector to join our team. We are seeking someone with formal qualifications in geospatial analysis (or a similar spatial quantitative field), experience in leading a small multidisciplinary team, and the ability to translate data and strategy concepts into effective spatial visualisations.
Our team strives to use the latest data, research, and analytical tools to address real-world problems and provide insightful spatial public policy advice to our clients. Given SGS’ strong spatial focus, GIS experts are integrated across the consulting team and all our consultants (no matter what background) are taught the basics of GIS. You will be required to demonstrate how you could effectively work within a multidisciplinary team.
