Land use assessment informs creative industries precinct in inner-west Sydney.
We worked with the Inner West Council to explore the potential for creating a creative industries precinct in Marrickville, adjacent to Sydenham Station.
Council’s vision for the Sydenham Station Creative Hub is a vibrant entertainment and employment precinct where live music venues, small bars, restaurants and cafés thrive alongside both traditional and creative industries.
We assessed the potential economic impacts of expanding land uses on the site, including the potential impact on existing local retail centres. Our report provided recommendations on how to include additional permitted land uses to help achieve the creative hub precinct’s long-term vision.
