SGS provides input into Australian Transport Assessment and Planning Guidelines

The Australian Transport Assessment and Planning Guidelines have now been released. SGS recently provided input into the update of the Australian Transport Assessment and Planning Guidelines (previously called the National Guidelines for Transport System Management). SGS developed the framework for integrated transport and land use planning (ITLUP).

Australian cities are growing rapidly and significant funding is being invested in infrastructure by both state and federal governments. It is important that the two way impact of transport and land use is well understood in informing these decisions as these infrastructure investments will have a long legacy. The guidelines recommend best practice principles for ITLUP across Australia.
