Five-year guide helped Hobart City Council to achieve its community vision.
We worked with the Hobart City Council to prepare ‘The City of Hobart Strategic Plan 2014-2019’. This five-year plan guided the Council’s activities for the city and outlined how it would achieve its community vision.
Our methodology included extensive consultation with the Council’s executive leadership team, the Lord Mayor, Council management, Council staff and the community to:
- consider community, stakeholder, Council and staff needs and aspirations for the next five years
- help the Council make progress toward achieving their ‘Community 2025 Vision’ and ‘Future Direction Statements’
- meet the Council’s operational requirements for the next five years through the identification of strategies and priority actions, and
- meet the requirements of the Local Government Act 1993.
Our strategic plan articulated objectives for the Council over the five-year period and outlined how they could be achieved.
