Bachelor of Social Science (Environment) with Distinction (Majoring in Indigenous Studies), IAP2 Australasia Certificate in Engagement
Tara is a social scientist and environmental practitioner specialising in stakeholder and community engagement. She is fascinated by how people interact with the physical environment; how we choose to live, work, create, and treat the planet.
A skilled project manager, Tara is a trusted pair of hands on environmental, social or cultural infrastructure, strategic planning or policy projects.
Tara consistently gets outstanding client feedback. Comments such as "excellent job integrating insights into a compelling narrative" and "a great team player" are commonplace.
She is interested in working on projects that do great things for communities - in particular, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and the creative and cultural community. She is also passionate about addressing the climate emergency and achieving real change across all scales - locally, state, nationally and globally.
Outside work, Tara puts her vocal chords to good use singing (sometimes in her band, but mostly in the car) and painting abstract aerial landscapes.
