Sean is an economist who specialises in urban economics. At SGS, Sean is leading the development of long term forecasts of employment and population at a small area level throughout Victoria. His other recent work includes economic modelling of housing policy changes and quantifying the cost of natural disasters to major cities.
In previous roles at the Commonwealth and NSW Treasuries, Sean advised governments on road pricing reform, housing supply, and financial sector regulation. He also led the NSW Behavioural Insights Unit’s work on commuter travel behaviour.
