Rob is an economist who understands the spatial issues that underpin planning and economics.
Robert has a keen interest in housing and population analysis and has worked on a variety of projects across different types of land use economics for the private and public sector. He has a personal aspiration to improve the standard of economic modelling that is used by planning bodies across Australia.
His experience includes market assessments, cost-benefit analysis, and retail and land use studies. He has also applied his geographic information system skills to a range of projects, including land use forecasts and retail analyses.
His recent project experience includes creating custom models to prepare a housing demand analysis for a state government department and to measure tourist retail expenditure for a local council.
Rob entered the urban planning industry by chance. A friend sent him a position description, thinking it sounded like the ideal role for Rob. He's never looked back.
