Phoebe is an Associate Planner who has managed many successful urban and regional strategic planning, economic development and stakeholder engagement projects throughout Australia.
Phoebe is a member of the Open House Melbourne Building Council and Program Advisory Committee member for the Monash University Master of Urban Planning and Design. She is a past board director for the Planning Institute of Australia (2016-2018). Phoebe regularly tutors at the University of Melbourne and has spoken about the value of planning and deliberative approaches to urban governance. Phoebe holds a certificate in public engagement from IAP2.
Phoebe’s experience includes planning for complex challenges facing urban and regional environments, including managing employment lands, activity centre planning, rural lands strategies and place-making. She manages multidisciplinary teams across urban planning and economic development projects and is passionate about using planning frameworks to positively influence local economic development and support sustainable communities. She understands project design and review, policy writing (including zone and overlay schedules) and reform, at the state and local government levels.
Phoebe believes we are all equal and deserve pleasant things - including places, spaces and connections. She wants to influence better planning practices and wants more people to have a say about the places in which they live.
Phoebe is genuinely passionate about her work and doing great things for local communities. Her client feedback is always impressive and comments like this are commonplace: "We were really impressed with your depth of knowledge on the project, your manner and enthusiasm."
When Phoebe's not working, she's usually riding her bike and exploring her neighbourhood.
