Bachelor of Horticulture (Honours), Masters of Landscape Architecture

Lucinda is a geographic information system and urban design expert interested in shaping great public open spaces in cities.

Lucinda (or Lucy) believes that cities need to be equitable, liveable and beautiful to prosper - and planning plays a critical role in this.

Lucinda applies her geographic information system analysis, qualitative analysis, urban design and planning expertise to a wide range of projects - including modelling transport scenarios, analysing urban land use and morphology, and preparing housing capacity assessments. Her expertise and experience include:

  • preparing strong evidence bases to inform policy and strategy development
  • open space and housing strategies and policy development
  • infrastructure funding plans including open space contribution plans and development contribution plans, and
  • housing and employment capacity analysis.

Lucinda frequently writes and presents on her research at conferences and is a regular guest lecturer in the Masters of Urban Design program at the University of Melbourne.

With qualifications in horticulture and landscape architecture, Lucinda can usually be found gardening on the weekends.
