SGS receives Best Planning Idea - Large Project award

SGS Economics and Planning, National Shelter and Community Sector Banking received a Best Planning Idea - Large Project award from the Planning Institute of Australia.

Awarded on October 26 in the ACT, the award recognises our work on the Rental Affordability Index (RAI).

Since it's launch in November 2015 the RAI has become a well known resource providing insight into rental affordability and in particular rental stress across Australia. Released on a biannual basis, RAI is a price index for rental housing markets, it is an easy to understand indicator of rental affordability relative to household income.

A special thanks to Brotherhood St Laurence who joined the partnership earlier this year.

New RAI data will be released November 28!
