At the Brisbane Seminar held on March 22nd, a number of SGS staff spoke on the topic of ‘Mine or Mind? What's driving the Queensland economy?'
Queensland is supposedly driven by its booming resources sector located mainly in the central, northern and western parts of the State. But the facts reveal Queensland's future prosperity will be driven by the concentration of knowledge-based industries located in our capital city - if we can get the planning right.
The evening consisted of a series of presentations (see below) followed by a panel discussion. The panel consisted of:
