SGS Senior Associate and Partner, Yuan Deng presented alongside SGS Consultant Claire Daniel, at the Computers in Urban Planning and Urban Management conference in Adelaide, in mid July.
Yuan discussed an Enrolment Simulation Application (ESA) developed for the NSW Department of Education to formulate the most effective asset solution for each school cluster. The ESA that has been developed aims to create an optimal allocation of students to a set of schools in regards to minimizing the total distance traveled by students to the allocated schools.
