Elizabeth Crouch appointed as new Chairperson of SGS Board

SGS Economics & Planning is governed by a professional board comprised of shareholder elected executive directors and specifically recruited non-executive directors. The Chairperson of the SGS Board is one of these specialist non-executive directors.

SGS is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Crouch has recently taken over the mantle of SGS Chair from Julie Savet Ward. Elizabeth has been a non-executive director of SGS for twelve months, and has previously chaired the SGS Finance & Risk Committee.

Elizabeth is an experienced non-executive director who has been a member of company boards for over 15 years including public company boards and significant government boards. Elizabeth is experienced in the practical application of corporate governance principles and enterprise risk management, and also has significant experience in building, construction and infrastructure. Elizabeth is also the Deputy Chancellor of Macquarie University and currently chairs a number of Audit and Risk Committees in health, finance and transport, as well as being a mentor and facilitator for the Orijen Group. Elizabeth is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

SGS wholeheartedly thanks Julie Savet Ward for her contribution as Chair of SGS over the past 6 years. SGS looks forward to Julie's continuing contribution as a non-executive director, and as Chair of the SGS Finance & Risk Committee.
