New profile of trends shaping WA's South West Region
SGS Economics and Planning has produced a Profile of the South West Region of Western Australia as an input into the Regional Planning Framework. The Profile examines the economic and population trends which have helped to shape the Region.
Besides presenting trends for each local government area in the region, the profile contains a detailed analysis of trends in the region's population, migration, tourist population, age of retirement, population attractors, employment, and dairy and forestry industry.
